Here are three updates: 1️⃣ ENGIE Perú won a contract to build 170 km of power transmission lines and substations in Ancash, Junin and Ucayali. The company will design, finance, build, operate and maintain these projects to improve the reliability and security of Peru's energy system. 2️⃣ From late 2025, ENGIE will supply Meta with 200 MW of renewable energy from its Anson 2 solar project in Texas. With ENGIE developing, constructing and operating the solar project, this agreement enables Meta to meet its net-zero goals and growing energy needs. 3️⃣ The Yeu and Noirmoutier offshore wind farm project reaches a new milestone with the arrival of the first nacelles and 81-meter blades in Saint-Nazaire. ⚡ The Red Sea Wind Energy farm is driving Egypt’s energy transition, aiming for 42% renewable electricity by 2030 and cutting CO₂ emissions by 1.3 million tons annually. Once operational, it will power over 1 million homes. This is the consortium’s second project in Ras Ghareb, adding to the 262.5 MW wind farm operational since 2019. With this expansion, ENGIE’s wind capacity in Egypt will reach 912.5 MW, strengthening its renewable energy leadership in Africa and the Middle East. ENGIE announces the expansion of the Red Sea Wind Energy farm in Egypt, Africa's largest wind farm! From the Mediterranean's deep blue waters, a leap forward in France's energy transition.🌊 The French Ministry of Industry and Energy has awarded OW Ocean Winds, ENGIE's joint venture, an offshore wind project in the Mediterranean, off the coast of the Occitanie region in the Gulf of Lion. With a total installed capacity of 250 MW, this project is expected to generate approximately 1 TWh of clean electricity annually, sufficient to meet the energy needs of nearly 500,000 individuals. This new project further strengthens ENGIE's contributions to the development of offshore wind energy in France, drawing on the Group's expertise in floating offshore technology.
