EnginX at the Radboud AI Event: Collaboration for Sustainable Growth We are excited to share that EnginX participated in the Radboud University AI Event: Collaboration for Sustainable Growth last week where Adam Alansary and Mohamad Naseb Aljalab, our AI developers, were present. This event brought together AI professionals from academia and industry to explore how collaboration in various AI fields can drive sustainable growth and deliver tangible results. The event featured insightful keynotes from industry leaders like applied science manager Elena Sokolova, PhD, PhD from Amazon and professor Societal Implications of Artificial Intelligence Pim Haselager from Radboud University, who discussed the future of AI and its ethical implications. We gained valuable insights into the latest knowledge, advancements and collaborative opportunities, which will help us enhance our innovative software solutions. For EnginX, this event was a significant learning experience. It provided us with a better understanding of how AI can be used to further improve Orion, our software solution, which accelerates the design process of complex fluid-control systems, and also to further improve Atlas, our smart component catalog for engineering. Participating in this event underscored our commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in engineering. Inspiring Session at KIVI Network Café! We had an incredibly inspiring session at the KIVI - Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs Network Café held at the Groote Sociëteit in Arnhem. It was an intimate gathering of senior engineers, perfectly aligned with our target audience. After a brief introduction by our CEO, Saskia Eijkelhof MSc, BA, we delved into the technical aspects of our Orion software which was presented by our CTO Thomas Bronzwaer. The engagement was immediate, with questions pouring in as we went deeper into the technology. It was 100% clear that we were presenting to our target audience, as evidenced by the nodding heads and the numerous photos taken during Thomas's demo. The session was so engaging that the moderator had to eventually wrap it up. However, the enthusiasm continued over drinks, with even more questions and discussions. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and our presentation was highly appreciated and valued by this critical and knowledgeable audience. It was great to see that our vision for the product resonated with them, and many shared examples from their own experiences that aligned with the capabilities and vision of our product. Announcement: EnginX x Radboud University We are pleased to announce that EnginX has furthered their relationship with Radboud University. Radboud University will be using our license within Radboud Innovation Science and the Radboud Faculty of Science (FNWI), to assess its applicability for dedicated research groups. This initiative shows Radboud's dedication to innovation and positions them at the forefront of technological progress. EnginX started as a spin-off from the @Radboud Radiolab, under the leadership of Marc Klein Wolt. The Radboud Radio Lab supports instrument development for the Department of Astrophysics at Radboud University, offering manpower and state-of-the-art facilities. This partnership represents a significant milestone in our development. EnginX has also benefited from the support provided by Mercator Launch, a pre-incubator that helps transform ideas into startups by supporting entrepreneurial minds. VMO New Year's Reception We had a fantastic time at the Verenigde Maakindustrie Oost (VMO) New Year's reception at Havezathe Het Everloo in Rossum! It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past year and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead. The evening was filled with familiar faces and new connections, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The VMO’s board, which our CEO Saskia Eijkelhof MSc, BA Eijkelhof is a member of, shared their optimism for the future, highlighting the new board formation and their commitment to fostering stronger relationships. The program offered plenty of room for informal meetings, with delicious food and drinks enjoyed throughout the evening. We were entertained by The Pianohouse and a magician, adding a touch of magic to the night. Despite the thick fog on the way there and back, the warmth inside made it all worthwhile. We look back on this successful event with great pleasure and thank all members who attended.
