We are EUROAVIA, the European Association of Aerospace Students, and we represent the interests of over 3000 students from 42 universities in 18 countries. We were founded in 1959, and our main purpose is to bridge the gap between aerospace companies and students. Our primary goals are: - To promote European cooperation in the aerospace field by providing opportunities for our members to meet, exchange, and learn on all levels. - To acquaint student members with their future working environment by building contacts with the industry. As our association is both non-political and non-profit, we are exclusively voluntary students in the organisation. Therefore, the various activities and projects offered are entirely financed by membership fees, sponsorships, and participation fees. We organize diverse events throughout Europe, such as: - Local activities that include visits, workshops, lectures, and social events. - International Events, like Fly-Ins, Congress meetings, Symposia, technical as well as soft-skills Workshops, and Competitions. We are also present famous European airshows, and on major aerospace exhibitions in Europe, with the examples of ILA Berlin, and Le Bourget, Paris. In a nutshell, we, the EUROAVIAns, work relentlessly to develop current and future leaders, as well as to promote the EUROAVIA Spirit: a set of common values based upon hard work, innovation, cultural awareness, teamwork, and international networking.

From September 3-7, 2023, I participated in the Ideathon23 competition organized by Euroavia in Terrassa, Spain, together with my team. The event was hosted by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). We represented AS Kocaeli with our team "Kelebek," a symbol of Gebze Technical University. In the competition sponsored by Ansys and GTD, we chose the challenging task of "Designing and optimizing a crisis response aircraft" presented by Ansys, and successfully designed and presented our project. This event also provided the opportunity to meet people from many cities across Europe and to explore Terrassa, gaining insight into Spanish culture. I extend my gratitude to everyone who participated in this valuable experience. See you in Europe! ✈️

Farnborough International Airshow🛫 Yesterday, as a member of EUROAVIA Dresden, I got the great opportunity to visit the Farnborough International Airshow near London together with EUROAVIA, an association of European aviation students. As one of the largest airshows in the world, it offers fantastic opportunities to see the latest innovations in the aviation industry, but also to network with companies and other aviation students. Of course, there was also time to visit the aircraft on display and the airshow, which included impressive flying displays of the A321XLR and various fighter jets. It was a great trip, which I was able to supplement with a short visit to London. Many thanks to the organizers at EUROAVIA who made this excursion possible. See you around Europe! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Farnborough International Airshow🛫 Gestern bekam ich als Mitglied von EUROAVIA Dresden die großartige Gelegenheit mit EUROAVIA, einer Vereinigung europäischer Studenten aus dem Luftfahrtbereich, die Farnborough International Airshow in der Nähe von London zu besuchen. Als eine der größten Luftfahrtmessen der Welt bietet diese fantastische Möglichkeiten die neusten Innovationen der Luftfahrt-Industrie zu bestaunen, aber auch mit Unternehmen und anderen Luftfahrt-Studenten zu netzwerken. Natürlich kam dabei aber auch der Besuch der ausgestellten Flugzeuge sowie der Flugshow nicht zu kurz, welche unter anderem beeindruckende Vorstellungen des A321XLR und verschiedenster Kampfjets zu bieten hatte. Es war eine großartige Reise, welche ich mit einem kurzen Besuch in London ergänzen konnte. Vielen Dank an die Organisatoren bei EUROAVIA, welche diese Exkursion möglich gemacht haben. Wir sehen uns in Europa!
