We were happy to contribute to the final evaluation of the VOICE with our research and participatory podcasting experience. VOICE is a programme of Oxfam Novib that empowers rightsholders worldwide to raise their voice!
Raising Voices! Learning from the Voice Programme’s Evaluation Exciting news! The final evaluation report for the innovative Voice programme is now out! Funded by the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken and managed by Oxfam Novib and Hivos, the programme aims to amplify the voices of marginalised communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Scio Network collaborated with inspiring country teams, grantee partners, and diverse rightsholders, including people with disabilities, LGBTI people, women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence, vulnerable youth and elderly, indigenous people and ethnic minorities. The report unveils the programme's adaptability amidst challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing strengths in inclusive leadership, collaborative learning, and engaging diverse populations. The evaluation also provides insights on aligning pathways of change with evolving needs and identities, streamlining grant processes, developing rightsholder-centred approaches, and tailoring communication to local contexts. At Scio Network, we're committed to continuous learning, a value we share with the Voice Programme. With our Circular Permanent Learning (CPL) approach, we collaborate closely, sparking lasting change and inspiring new knowledge for transformation. Interested to learn more?
