Our customer Faes, known for their custom packaging solutions, recently received a tailored training from Fabory to optimize their use of fasteners. Account manager Pieter van Wijk proposed a focused training session: “Faes has been purchasing from us for over thirty years. We want to support them in optimizing their purchasing processes, starting with the Engineering team. Which factors play a role in choosing the right products? We explained this during the training.” 🧐 Our expert Edwin de Lange traveled to Reusel for the training. Thirteen participants joined a four-hour interactive session. 🙋♂️ Faes, a family business, provides custom packaging solutions for clients such as ASML, Philips, and Defense. Just like their packaging is custom-made, selecting the right fasteners requires precision. By better aligning the use of fasteners, we create more synergy and value. Both commonly used and new, alternative fastening methods were highlighted. This knowledge update and introduction to new techniques prompt producers to rethink their processes. Did you know that 70% of hand tool users are using the wrong accessories? At Fabory, we believe that sharing knowledge is the key to helping our customers move forward. 🗝️ By sharing our expertise, we ensure they can make the right decisions in their processes. Several Bosch experts shared their knowledge with our Fabory colleagues at their headquarters in Breda last week. The accessories line has undergone a transformation and now includes Bosch (good), Bosch Pro (better), and Bosch Expert (best). With the new packaging of the top two lines, users can more easily identify which accessories are best suited for their needs. These packages now contain more cardboard and less PTFE. In the afternoon, Fabory employees visited the demo room where they discovered even more innovations. They saw how quickly a carbide metal saw blade cuts through an H-profile beam using a small, handheld, battery-powered circular saw, ensuring a straight cut. 👌 Equipped with the necessary PPE, we got to work with grinding discs, jigsaw blades, and sanding discs. We also learned about the X-LOCK connection for angle grinders, which allows accessories to be changed with just one click. The disc is released and safely comes to a stop in 0.62 seconds. With a standard connection, this takes 1.5 seconds. In short, a lot of knowledge was shared again. Would you like to benefit from this? Let us know!
