🙌 The deployEMDS Consortium and Advisory Board members gathered together for an exciting and fruitful General Assembly in beautiful Stockholm, hosted by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and organised by acatech – Deutsche Akademie der Technikwissenschaften After a warm and active welcome on the morning of the first day, the afternoon was full of engaging activities. It started with an insightful panel discussion "Driving the future of mobility data sharing: The role of the EMDS", between the project's Project Officer, Kristóf Almásy (European Commission), Tobias Johansson (City of Stockholm), and moderated by the project coordinator, Lucie Kirstein. Members of the Advisory Board came together afterwards to discuss about the project's vision and strategy. At the same time, representatives from the use cases presented their plans and collaborated with technical partners to create a common road map, ensuring a strong connection and resource-sharing. The second day was dedicated to a strategic alignment workshop, hosted by Christopher Newman in which several statements and questions were presented and discussed by the audience who were split into different groups, resulting in a series of conclusions that were shared with the rest of the groups. Following this, Josep Laborda and Luke Bates from FACTUAL hosted their second live session as part of the project's training 'Learn with the common European Mobility Data Spaces'. ✨ One of the highlights was the Stockholms stad (City of Stockholm)'s #ZeroEmissionZone site visit. Partners could see first-hand the air/noise quality measuring stations as well as the ANPR stations. ♻ The two-day event was completed with two more days dedicated to Policy Labs in which partners addressed regulatory and governance challenges in mobility #datasharing Special mention to Josefine Morgan from acatech – Deutsche Akademie der Technikwissenschaften for the great organisation of the sessions and the creative and energising activities included. Last week, after the successful alignment in the Smart Ticketing Alliance (STA) ABT working group on interoperability and compliance, I had the honour to exchange with the IT related working groups at UITP. Open discussions on data: the digital mindset, the economics of data and the democratisation of data, allowing improved collaboration amongst the mobility stakeholders. Increasing the added value and reducing costs and dependencies. We’ve just updated the fairsfair page. Opening the semantic model to foster interoperability and compliance under fairsfair.org, and offering the trusted data sharing protocol, easy to integrate with whatever (personal) data management systems in place, fairsfair.io. New websites and will follow later this month.

After up to 7 years of research and development, FRCB B.V. is launching fairsfair.io this fall. Launching customers are the first to be compliant by default and fully interoperable with others that choose to align with the fairsfair protocol. Humbled to be given the opportunity to be part of the early adopters leveraging European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) for trusted data interactions. fairsfair foundation will legalise the transactions using existing EBSI services, furthermore it plans to integrate other EBSI-services and in reciprocity add fairsfair's smart contracts to EBSI-infrastructure to enhance the EBSI product portfolio, catering to interoperability and compliance.
