To fully understand water management, we and the African Plantations Kilimanjaro team visited the station where water from the Weru Weru River arrives through a pipeline. Gravity provides more than enough pressure for large-scale irrigation without pumping, so zero emissions. Important because APK together with FarmersDirectCoffee will implement regenerative cultivation. Together they also visit a wet mill of African Plantations Kilimanjaro with outdated drying installations to dry the coffee faster and with modern dryers.
