The 71st Federation Europeenne des Fabricants de Palettes et Emballages en Bois (FEFPEB) congress took place in the seaside city of Ostende, Belgium this week, hosted by local wood industry association Fedustria. The professional tour on day two of the event saw delegates visit some of the leading businesses in the region, including: ·      PGS GROUP Rodanar Pallets in Gistel, one of the PGS Group’s largest production sites; ·      Nails of Flanders in Ostend, the PGS-owned manufacturer responsible for supplying the whole group; ·      Second-hand pallet repairer PGS REC Belgium; and ·      Bruges-based G-bloc - compressed pallet blocks - wood pallet block - which produces more than 200,000 pallet blocks from 100 per cent post-consumer wood waste every day. #FEFPEB #wood #pallet #packaging #sustainability #biodegradeability #circulareconomy #sustainablesupplychains #FEFPEBCongress
