Our team in London participated in VanEck Europe's Defense ETF symposium at the iconic HMS Belfast. Over 60 professional investors gathered to explore the evolving Defence ETF sector, gaining insights from former Defence Secretary Grant Shapps and Savas Kesidis (Managing Director UK at Flow Traders) who addressed liquidity and technical questions related to trading large sizes in illiquid ETFs. The event was a great opportunity to delve into this competitive and nuanced sector. As we navigate trading Defence ETFs and aim to stay at the forefront with liquidity for innovative ETF products within the industry, it's clear that this event has provided essential knowledge for all participants.
