The 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 week ‘𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦-𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴’ is now officially a wrap! 💫 On November 5th,  FlowBeams contributed to the fact-finding trip organized at the University of Twente campus, touring various research facilities, the High Tech Factory and Incubase. 📚💡 🤝 The same evening our CEO, Lea Milovich, attended the MedTech Twente Exchange Dinner, to network and establish new connections and inspiring ideas to further develop MedTech in our region.  A big thank you among others to Cindy Marsman (Novel-T), Esther Rodijk-Rozeboom (Thematic Technology Transfer) Wim Stegink (Abbott), Boony Thio (Medisch Spectrum Twente) and our wonderful table hosts Bart Heuts (Oost NL), Casper Smeets (Health Valley Netherlands ) and Rob F.M. van Doremalen (Medisch Spectrum Twente) for a fantastic evening! Lastly, today we attended the annual TechMed Centre event which was packed with inspiriting and informative sessions. The highlight of the day was the celebration of the 5th jubilee of our prestigious TechMed Centre! 🥂 💫 Together we will improve healthcare through innovation and collaboration, and developing groundbreaking solutions for the future! Our latest results from the BuBble Gun project are now published by Physics of Fluids AIP Publishing. Jelle Schoppink and Nicolas Rivera studied a mechanism of optical energy absorption in microfluidic channels using a sputtered thin gold layer, and compared it with the older method we have used based on dyes.
