WaterSafe is Heading to the West Africa Project Fair!     This week, from November 2nd to 3rd, we will be attending the West Africa Project Fair in Accra, Ghana, hosted by Rotary International. The fair is centered around the impact of ‘Transforming Lives in West Africa', aligning closely with WaterSafe’s mission. WaterSafe to Aid the Drought-Affected Villages of Jaipur region, India Jaipur faces severe water scarcity due to its dry climate and overreliance on diminishing groundwater supplies. The region's limited access to clean water is further complicated by groundwater contamination, which poses serious health risks. The lack of surface water sources worsens these challenges, leaving residents to grapple with unreliable and unsafe water for daily use. Water access in the region remains a daily struggle, particularly for women and children, who often must undertake long, physically demanding journeys to collect water. To ease this burden a total of 1,620 WaterSafes were recently delivered offering a sustainable and reliable means to transport, store and dispense water. FPS commits to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard We’re pleased to announce that FPS Flexible Packaging Solutions has officially committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard. This is a significant step that reflects our dedication to reducing emissions in line with climate science. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis. The standards, tools and guidance will guide us to contribute to a greater purpose in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions targets in line with what is needed to keep global heating below catastrophic levels and reach net-zero by 2050 at the latest.  Through this initiative we are now part of the Race to Zero, an UN-backed global campaign driving leadership for a healthy, resilient, zero-carbon recovery. As we move forward with this exciting development, we are focused on developing science-based targets to drive our emissions reduction efforts and will utilize SBTi resources to ensure our commitment is well-aligned.
