🤖 We've partnered with The National Robotarium to revolutionise offshore wind farm maintenance using our uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) with electric remotely operated vehicles (eROVs); our underwater, remote-controlled robots. Building on our track record of over a million hours of remote operations and 10+ years operating USVs and ROVs from our remote operations centres, this collaboration takes offshore automation to the next level. Use of these technologies will slash maintenance vessel fuel consumption by 97% - from 7,000 to just 200 litres per day. What does the future of pipeline inspections look like? 🔍 We deployed our Blue Essence® USV and Blue Volta® eROV for Eni Energy Netherlands, marking a new era for pipeline inspections. Controlled from our remote operations centre in Aberdeen, the USV performed extensive surveys, covering over 1,000 linear kilometres of pipelines.
