The Impact and Value of Our Interns at Hunkemöller 👏 We are thrilled to share an inspiring story from our former Film & Editor Intern, Aliya Yermukan. Her brilliant idea, pitched during our Hunkemöller Dragons' Den, has become a reality and is now part of our standard collection! 🚀 Aliya's innovative concept for menstrual underwear not only impressed our Dragons but has also made its way into our webshop, showcasing the importance of fresh perspectives and creative thinking at Hunkemöller. We couldn't be prouder of you, Aliya! 🌟 #Hunkemöller #BestInternshipInRetail #DragonsDen #MenstrualUnderwear
I DID IT!!! 🤩 Just over a year ago, during my internship at Hunkemöller, I had the opportunity to participate in the "Dragon's Den" intern business case competition. I presented a business case for "Menstrual Underwear" and won! About a month ago, Isa Lucassen reached out to me with exciting news: the product went live! In my business case, I proposed adding menstrual underwear to Hunkemöller's product line, highlighting its attractiveness from social, environmental, and business perspectives. To present my case to Hunkemöller's three dragons, I conducted a market analysis, designed a model and prototype, calculated financials, and developed a marketing strategy. As a result, my proposal won and signalled to Hunkemöller that it was time to introduce menstrual underwear as a new product. In just over a year, Hunkemöller made it happen, launching menstrual underwear as part of their new slips collection! I am extremely happy about this revolutionary step the brand has taken and proud to be part of it! I would like to thank everyone who helped me and contributed to this business case: my internship mentor Rayane MADZENGUE, Campus & Early Career recruiter Isa Lucassen, Creative Director pepe villaverde, Garment Technician Candice J. Daniel, as well as Marte den Ouden, Susanne Schmid, Sammie Deckers, Michelle Kimm, Ishèle Bueno de Mesquita, and many more!
