This year, we took a break from our usual routines and headed into the #Veluwe forest for some fresh air and a bit of fun. We explored the trails on buggies (no one got lost, thankfully), tried our hand at bird-watching and tracking animals, and wrapped up the day around a campfire with some good food.    Spending time together, away from the office, was a reminder that whether we’re solving problems in the wild or in cybersecurity, having the right people by your side makes all the difference.    Thanks to everyone who made it a day to remember! 🙌

A breach in your #supplychain can quickly become your own #vulnerability. That’s why assessing third-party risk and building secure partnerships are critical steps in any effective cybersecurity strategy.   We're happy to have Marcel Van Oirschot representing Hunt & Hackett at Lenze's roundtable discussion on the #NIS2 directive. One of the most striking moments was realizing that many still see NIS2 as just an IT concern, when in fact, it’s a critical board-level issue that requires #leadership's involvement.    A big thank you to Lenze for organizing this event and for creating a platform to discuss how businesses can navigate complex cybersecurity challenges. We look forward to continuing the discussion on the role of boardroom #responsibility in ensuring #cybercompliance.

We're proud to see our team sharing their expertise and shaping the future of cyber resilience 🙌 This week, Krijn de Mik & Francisco Dominguez represented us at an event on societal resilience, organized by the Jonge Atlantici / Young Atlantic Association, where they delivered a presentation on the evolution of the #threatlandscape over the past 15 years. They explored topics such as the impact of legislation, the value of public-private collaboration, and forward defense strategies. Thank you both for representing us and inspiring the next generation of young professionals to engage with critical challenges in #digitalresilience and #cybersecurity.

Last week, we gathered at Legian’s office for an event focused on #OTsecurity. We covered key trends in securing critical infrastructure, heard from experts at Royal Schiphol Group and Legian, along with a practical OT security case presented by our Francisco Dominguez. To top it off, we tested our skills in an interactive OT security game with Arda, which made the learning experience more fun and memorable.   More than informative, it was really engaging to chat with people about their OT concerns and share ideas. We ended the day with a lovely dinner (and luckily, the weather was perfect for it!).    Special thanks to Legian for hosting us in their beautiful office and to Arda for making the event interactive. A big thank you as well to all the participants and the speakers for their contributions! 

#SOC Day Recap! Last Tuesday, we gave a behind-the-scenes look at our Security Operations Center (SOC) at Hunt & Hackett, offering attendees the full analyst onboarding experience. From our “everything-as-code” philosophy to our automated triage process, it was a hands-on look at how we keep things running smoothly. It was also a moment to appreciate our incredible SOC team, whose hard work and dedication keep us #secure every day. Thanks to everyone who joined—we hope to see you next time!
