❓Did see our announcement of Hyvä Commerce & do you have questions?❓ We've got the answers... 👇 We recently unveiled Hyvä Commerce, our upcoming eCommerce suite. Partnering with Mollie, we're bringing modern enhancements to Magento Open Source, designed for merchants and their customers. 🔹 How will Hyvä Commerce impact new & existing Hyvä merchants? Once available, existing Hyvä merchants will be able to upgrade seamlessly to Hyvä Commerce, which will include Hyvä Theme and Hyvä Checkout as standard. The upgrade will be simple, affordable, and respect their current investment, ensuring existing customers are best positioned to take full advantage of new tools and features that maintain Hyvä’s simplicity and performance, along with enhancements for future growth. 🔸 Is Hyvä Commerce going to be open source? Hyvä Commerce will be a commercial product that, like our current offerings, remains rooted in the spirit of openness and collaboration, built on the open-source Magento platform. 🔹 Will there be a beta program for Hyvä Commerce? Yes, we plan to launch a beta program early in 2025. This program will allow early adopters to provide feedback and help shape the final product. 🔸 Will there be a public roadmap for Hyvä Commerce? We are currently finalising the roadmap with input from our Platinum and Gold agency partners. Once complete, it will be published to provide transparency and insight into upcoming features and updates. 🔹 Is Hyvä Commerce a fork of Magento Open Source? No, Hyvä Commerce is not a fork. It will be a comprehensive product suite built on Magento, similar to how Adobe Commerce extends Magento. This means we’re enhancing and expanding on Magento’s capabilities without branching off from the main codebase. 🔸 What does this mean for Mage-OS? Hyvä Commerce will continue to support and align with the broader Magento ecosystem, including Mage-OS, fostering innovation and growth within the community. 🔹 Did Mollie acquire Hyvä? No, Hyvä remains fully independent. Our partnership with Mollie accelerates our growth and innovation while staying true to our core values of simplicity, fairness, and excellence. 🔸 Will Hyvä Commerce be limited to Mollie users? Not at all. While Mollie is our strategic partner, Hyvä Commerce will remain open to all payment providers, giving merchants the freedom to choose the best solutions for their business. 🔹 Will merchants still be able to purchase and use individual Hyvä products like Theme, Checkout, or Enterprise? Yes, merchants will continue to have the option to use individual Hyvä products without upgrading to Hyvä Commerce.
