🌍 Exciting times for Sustainability at Eindhoven University of Technology! 🎊 This month, on October 3rd, we proudly celebrated the inaugural lecture of Prof. Dr. Ir. Anna J. Wieczorek, our very own Sustainability Ambassador @ TU/e. Anna was appointed professor of sustainable innovation and transitions at the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences at TU/e. In her thought-provoking lecture, titled “Enabling Sustainability Transitions,” Anna explored the evolution of our perception of #environmentalissues and emphasized the need for a fundamental shift in how we approach grand societal challenges. She articulated a vision for transformative change, advocating for innovative practices that align with Sustainability goals. This lecture built perfectly on the previously conducted Symposium on “Joining forces for Smart Change” where change agents like Marjan Minnesma, Mark van Baal, and Isabelle Reymen shared their experiences and strategies for driving momentum in Sustainability.
