We’re not just talking about recycling at Interreg Meuse-Rhine, our projects are actively innovating in the circular economy! From turning waste into new resources to circular lifecycles, we're working towards a more sustainable Meuse-Rhine region. #GlobalRecyclingDay is the perfect opportunity to highlight two of our projects: ♻️ 𝗖𝗬𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦, led by Flanders Make, aims to position the Meuse-Rhine region as a leader in sustainable, circular production of climate-neutral mobility solutions. This cross-border initiative focuses on establishing a circular and resource-efficient supply chain for the automotive industry. See what they're working on here: https://lnkd.in/et7hTqUX ♻️ 𝗥𝗘-𝗨𝗦𝗘, led by Hogeschool PXL, is one of the projects that was recently approved. This project is going to transform the way construction materials are reused across the region. Our colleague and project manager Rosa Hendriks didn't go for the last days of Carnival last week but attended the workshop “Improving Project Quality” in Prague, Czech Republic. Rosa: “The incentive was not only to find inspiration on how to optimize the quality of our projects, both in the acquisition and implementation phase, but also to exchange experience with how our colleague programs work towards the highest value and result for the projects in their region. Especially this international dialogue is of very high value, as it keeps our Europe united and strong.” We’re looking forward to implementing Rosa's new knowledge to further improve our beautiful Meuse-Rhine region. Thank you Interact Programme for the training! Also thanks to Interreg Grande Région - Großregion, Interreg South Baltic Programme , Interreg Deutschland-Danmark, Interreg Hungary-Slovakia Programme, Interreg IPA South Adriatic, INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021-2027, Interreg NEXT Poland Ukraine and Interreg Slovenija Croatia for making it a productive and effective training!

MAS4TE is off to a strong start with their kickoff! We’re excited to see how this Interreg Meuse-Rhine-funded project unfolds and the impact it will create. Looking forward to the journey ahead! 🙌
🎉 🚀 Exciting News! We’ve Officially Started! 🚀 On February 21st, we kicked off the Multi-Agent Systems for Trading Energy (MAS4TE) project at the Open Universiteit campus in Heerlen, NL. 🎉 MAS4TE is coordinated by the Open Universiteit and is being implemented in collaboration with: - Boosting Alpha (NL) - Climate Cities (BE) - University of Liège (BE) - FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences (DE) - Forschungszentrum Jülich (DE) This groundbreaking project is co-financed by the Interreg Euregio Maas-Rhine programme and other regional governments, with a total budget of €2,220,119.68. A key goal of MAS4TE is to empower households and businesses to trade surplus energy (e.g., solar energy) and turn it into an additional source of income. 🌞💡 This is achieved through AI-driven chatbots that interact with users in natural language, facilitating transactions using smart contracts via blockchain technology. 🔗🤖 Want to learn more about MAS4TE? Stay tuned and keep following our journey! 😊 #AI #Blockchain #EnergyTrading #Sustainability #Innovation #MAS4TE, #interregmeuserhine #interreg, Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE), Open University of the Netherlands, Boosting Alpha B.V., ClimateCities, University of Liège, FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Anna Bronzes, Jean-Louis Stassen, Stefano Bromuri, Dr. Venkata Marella, Bea Waelbers, Clara Maathuis, PhD, Xue Li, André Xhonneux, Jana Pick, Nestar Lakot, Nermin Dizdarevic MA, Johanna Füten, Simone Deijs, Ralf Schemm, Sebastian Dickler, Muhammad Tayyab, Bertrand Cornélusse
