Lees het artikel in het FD voor meer informatie over de plannen: https://lnkd.in/eTMz7T3R "𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝" A quote from yesterday’s article in Het Financieele Dagblad, where our CEO a.i. explains that Invest International is here to realize the international ambitions of Dutch companies through financing and that the demand for our financing continues to grow. With an initial budget of €1.1 billion—of which over €740 million has already been lent out—we are fulfilling an important role that the major banks are increasingly less able to play internationally. What does this mean for entrepreneurs? ✅ We provide opportunities for companies looking to expand in markets like Kenya and Nigeria, where we partner with local financing through KCB Bank Group and Access Bank Plc via our Dutch Desks. We aim to establish similar desks in other countries as well. ✅ Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which often no longer have access to traditional financing, can turn to us. SMEs—the backbone of the economy—need to move forward by leaps and bounds. ✅ We ensure that Dutch businesses can seize international opportunities, grow, and make an impact, even in a challenging economic environment. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 This initiative, supported by the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership showcases a shared commitment to renewable energy innovation. ▶️ At Invest International, we contributed by inviting Dutch company Ampowr to demonstrate their cutting-edge solar & BESS technology and Energy Management System (EMS). Ampowr showed how their smart energy solutions can overcome grid limitations, reduce costs, and even generate revenue through real-time monitoring and energy optimization. 💡 ▶️ Tim Zijderveld highlighted how Invest International supports the development and financing of BESS projects under the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) in Indonesia and Vietnam. By combining Dutch government backing and contributions from innovative Dutch companies, we’re accelerating the path toward clean energy in Southeast Asia. A lively discussion followed on how the standardization of BESS systems could facilitate more and faster international adoption. Additionally, the Vietnamese delegation showed keen interest in Dutch expertise within the waste management industry, pointing to exciting collaboration opportunities ahead. With support from the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken #TeamEurope, and the #EUGlobalGateway, we are working together to strengthen renewable energy sectors in Indonesia and Vietnam—driving the global energy transition forward.
