ITEA, as a EUREKA Cluster, is a transnational and industry-driven R&D&I programme in the domain of software innovation.
Over ons
Since 1998, ITEA is the Eureka R&D&I Cluster for software innovation, enabling a large international community of large industry, SMEs, start-ups, academia and customer organisations, to collaborate in funded projects that turn innovative ideas into new businesses, jobs, economic growth and benefits for society. It is industry-driven and covers a wide range of business opportunities facilitated by digitisation like smart mobility, healthcare, smart cities and energy, manufacturing, engineering and safety & security. ITEA pushes important technology fields like artificial intelligence, big data, simulation and high-performance computing into concrete business applications. ITEA is open to large industry, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, academia and customer organisations. Its bottom-up project creation ensures that the project ideas are industry-driven and based on actual customer needs. The ITEA programme is publicly funded on a national level; each ITEA project partner can apply for funding from their own national Public Authority.

𝗔 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 This week the second project review of the ITEA project 𝗧𝗶𝗗𝗶𝗧 (🇸🇮🇹🇷) took place. Current digital twin services face challenges in meeting customer needs and preventing breakdowns, leading to inefficiencies. Users encounter high costs and significant effort when setting up simulations, as they must integrate various software solutions. The TiDiT Project offers an AI and ML-powered digital twin platform delivered to run as-a-service, designed to help organisations make precise, data-driven decisions efficiently and cost-effectively. It combines digital twin architecture, timeline data management, and scenario analysis capabilities to predict, replay, and simulate different situations. This flexible, interoperable platform adapts to various industries such as healthcare and manufacturing, enhancing decision-making and situational awareness. The solution accelerates data analysis, optimises scenario forecasting, and delivers real-time insights that drive effective, high-impact decisions! 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗙𝗢𝗦) 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 This week the second review of the Eureka Clusters AI Call 2021 project 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴 (🇦🇺🇧🇪🇳🇱) took place. Imagine a technology with ground-breaking applications in healthcare, construction, and utilities sectors. It assists surgeons to navigate catheters in the body through winding vessels to treat aneurysms. It enables detection of leakages in water pipelines buried under the ground. It provides measurements to monitor the health of tunnels and bridges. Fiber-optic sensing (FOS) is that technology. The AI FORSchung projects bring together experts, data, and application knowledge in fiber-optic sensing from healthcare, civil infrastructure, utilities sectors and large-scale signal and data analysis methods to advance the adoption of FOS across the spectrum of applications and open new fields through cost-effective and easy-to-use products. This leads to quicker data analysis, smarter data compression, and immediate alerts that can make a difference in life-threatening situations!
