🚀 Kick-off JTS Research Support Hub, 13 November, 9:30-13:00 We would like to invite you to the kick-off event of the JTS Research Support Hub on Wednesday the 13th of November at the House of Connections - Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, University of Groningen. Here we want to present the ideas and possible support for the hub, get your feedback to finetune the concept and enjoy a joint lunch. The JTS Interfaculty Research Support Hub will be open for all employees for 4 hours a week with on-site support from CIT teams on data management, Geo-services, Statistics, Machine Learning, AI-tools and High Performance Computing. We aim for a weekly workshop, next to guided working on your own research project, on a running CIT training, or just on further practice. Marleen Stikker , directeur Waag Futurelab, kunstenaar en wetenschapper Vladan Joler, kunstenaars Martina Raponi & Ymer Marinus en co-curator Rosa Wevers Wevers gaan in gesprek over de digitale transformatie en de rol van kunst in het vormgeven van onze toekomst. Your participation made the event a success, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to connect with so many talented individuals. A special thanks to our speakers: - Steffen Frey for sharing his work on machine learning-based visualization of scientific data. - Sofie Lövdal for her insightful presentation on modeling disease progression with FDG PET scans. - Anusha Aswath for discussing interactive segmentation using hyperspectral electron microscopy. - John Beuving for his talk on radar intelligence and LLM-powered RAG solutions.
