Spring is here! Time for renewal and growth. It's a time when we are reminded that it is never too late to start something new - to do something impactful - to take the first step on your sustainability journey. Because you may think you should have started earlier, but don't worry about that - you can't change the past. But you can begin right now to change the future. The best time to start is today. #SpringRenewal #NewBeginnings #SustainabilityJourney #StartNow #ImpactfulLiving #SustainableLifestyle #RenewableFuture #GreenLiving #EcoFriendlyChoices #PositiveChange #Sustainability #PositiveVibes #InspirationalQuote #Leaders #Future

Sustainable action through culture.
Over ons
Ki Culture leads sustainability through culture, holistically and globally. We develop creative solutions and tools for cultural institutions, connecting sustainability to preserving the arts and our heritage. We are the only non-profit organization in the world dedicated to making this a reality. Cultural organizations are uniquely positioned to become leaders for a sustainable future by decreasing their impact on the environment and increasing their positive impact on their communities. We help achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) through tangible actions, effective communication, and education. Our original programs make sustainability easy to implement, while our resource centers make it accessible. We develop and support exhibitions and outreach programs that inform and empower people with solutions. Interested in collaborating? Passionate about Sustainability or Art or both? Just curious? Honoring Women in Conservation: A Call for Change 🌍✨ Yesterday, on International Women in Science Day, we celebrated the incredible contributions of women in art and cultural heritage conservation. Yet, as we honor these achievements, we must also confront the barriers still in place, especially around diversity, equity, and transparency in the field. AIC just published a report revealing that most conservators in the U.S. are women (nearly 80%) and predominantly white (70%), with many facing financial instability, stagnant wages, and limited career advancement. These struggles have been exacerbated by global crises like the pandemic and rising living costs, and disproportionately affect women and underrepresented communities. Despite these challenges, there is hope. More organizations are actively seeking diverse interns and students. However, true progress requires radical transparency about the realities of the profession. Recruiting diverse talent without addressing the field’s financial instability, lack of benefits, and structural issues is both unfair and unethical. As we celebrate the women who have shaped the field, let’s commit to dismantling the barriers that hold back future generations. The future of art conservation must be diverse, equitable, and sustainable. Let’s make it happen. Together. 💪🏽🌎 #InternationalWomenin scienceDay #Conservation #DiversityInConservation #EquityInConservation #WomenInConservation #CulturalHeritage #TransparencyInConservation #GenderEquity #DiversityMatters

YOU ARE NOT ALONE! And when it comes to sustainability, it is important to know that you don't have to have all the answers, to be the expert in everything, or do it yourself. There is strength in numbers and improvement in co-creation and belonging. Sustainability is best done together. A huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to our friends and partners who have been our greatest allies and support systems Teiger Foundation, Articheck, Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC) @haleymellin Julie's Bicycle, (SiC) Sustainability in Conservation, Conserv @kimkraczon @ an many more!

Did you know that recycling rates can differ based on where you live, the type of plastic, and how it's used? Scientists say that only about 9% of all the plastic waste we create worldwide gets recycled! That means a whopping 91% is either burned, tossed in landfills, or finds its way into nature. 🌍 National Geographic even points out that if we keep this up, we'll see 12 billion metric tons of plastic waste piling up in landfills by 2050. 😱 What fun steps are you taking to cut down on plastic waste? We’d love to hear your thoughts! 😊 #Recycling #PlasticWaste
