But a company can extend that to refraining from gender-sensitive questions in interviews too. ✅ Check The Gender Ratio: Any type of company can thrive if the general plan is to bring on more women, even if those efforts culminate to one female hire for every three or four male hires.  ✅ Crack Down On Discrimination: Simple changes like senior managers empowering women and treating women equally to men. Giving flexible working hours to everyone regardless of gender, not having gender pay gaps in the company, among other things is a good start. ✅ Give Women Leadership Roles: A good step forward for companies is to provide leadership opportunities with recognizing that women can perform excellently. Australian accounting firm HLB Mann Judd has established a Sustainability Steering Committee to drive sustainability and ESG. The Comittee will oversee the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives within the organisation and for their clients. The committee is chaired by Nicholas Guest. The SSC will promote a sustainability culture across the association by developing policies, educating and raising awareness and taking practical action. It will also support the company's clients on their ESG and sustainability journey. HLB Mann Judd has also partnered with Sumday, a carbon accounting technology provider. BeZero Carbon has formed a partnership with Emirates NBD to develop carbon due diligence and the UAE carbon market. This makes Emirates NBD the first bank in the region to integrate a rating agency into their voluntary carbon market trading. Their new carbon trading desk will use the BeZero Carbon Markets platform which has over 440 ratings of carbon credit projects.
