🚨 Just launched: Agrospecial on Valorisation of Manure Worldwide 🚨 🌍 We are excited to announce this new edition published by The Netherlands Agricultural Network of the Ministerie van Landbouw, Visserij, Voedselzekerheid en Natuur. It showcases perspectives and initiatives in manure valorization as useful resource towards circularity and sustainability. The Netherlands is taking strong steps in sustainable manure management and nutrient recycling! 💡 Why focus on manure? Since the early days of agriculture, manure has played an important role in food production. It enriches soils, supports plant growth, and serves as a valuable raw material. However, managing manure sustainably is a growing challenge, especially with shifting policies such as the phasing out of derogation for manure application in the Netherlands. The Dutch approach to manure valorization is leading the way in circular agriculture through: ✔️ Precision fertilization and innovative manure processing technologies ✔️ Regional nutrient cycles that match manure surpluses with demand ✔️ Transparency and market insights on manure reuse potential in Europe ✔️ International collaboration to facilitate sustainable nutrient use worldwide 🌍 You can read about different point of views from the Dutch public, private and non-profit sector. But you will also get better insights about the current developments abroad, in European countries, such as #France, #Germany, #Poland, #Italy, #Denmark and #Sweden, #Romania, but also in #CôtedIvoire and #Senegal, #SouthKorea and #Vietnam. How Dutch expertise can help bridge the gap between manure supply and demand with innovative technologies adapted to local needs, including missions to key regions to foster partnerships and knowledge exchange. 📣 Join the conversation! Manure is no longer just waste - it is an essential resource for greener, more sustainable agriculture. We invite policymakers, businesses, knowledge and non-profit institutions, and agricultural stakeholders to collaborate with us in closing the nutrient cycle. ♻️ Let’s turn manure into a solution for sustainable food production together! 📖 Read the latest Agrospecial ‘Valorization of manure’ worldwide here👇 https://lnkd.in/eipma297 #Agrospecial | #SustainableAgriculture | #ManureValorisation #CircularEconomy | #Soils | #NetherlandsAgriculturalNetwork | #Innovation #Fertilizer | #Biogas | #LAN | Marten Van den Berg | Ralf Van De Beek Martijn Homan Femke Kiestra | Tamara van Riet | Barend Van Wonderen | Gabrielle Nuijtens-Vaarkamp | Suzanne Wolters | Nanda Elenbaas | Jan Roefs | Johan Mostert | jos Verstraten | romke postma | Harm Gelderblom | Ben Kubbinga | Kirsten Peeters | Martijn Weijtens | Jack Vera | Hayo Haanstra Jouke Knol | Sophie Neve | Rick Nobel | Ingrid Korving | Publiek Denken | Ir.
