Laser 2000 would like to introduce the new laser for OCT from SuperLight Photonics: the SLP 1050. With ultra-low RIN noise -120 dB/Hz! It harnesses unprecedented power for enhanced industrial, research, and (bio)medical applications 📈 Using an amplified seed laser, this supercontinuum laser is designed to deliver more than 40 mW, more than 15 times the battery-operated SLP-1000, and a wide spectral range in the NIR-SWIR region. Just like the SLP-1000, it provides a highly coherent, stable, and low noise output. It is a small-form-factor class 3 laser with a short start-up time, no need for calibration, high uptime and maintenance-free. SLP-1050 features : ▪ Higher brightness and power ▪ 25 kW peak power, 25fs at 100MHz ▪ High quality smooth spectral output ▪ Coherent wide bandwidth (time & spectral coherence) ▪ Small size, low weight, battery operated & very robust Its supercontinuum wideband SWIR spectral output, in combination with the ultra-low RIN noise, improves OCT scan resolutions down to the sub-micron level. Here I gained a solid foundation in optics, electronics, mechanics and signal processing. After that, I worked for about two years as an R&D engineer. In 2024, I got my master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. This gave me deeper insights in AI, medical technology research and control systems. When I'm not working, I enjoy music and sports. I play the accordion and the piano/keys and I perform roughly once a month with my band. My other passion is sports, particularly (beach)volleyball.
