He believes this would improve system efficiency, enabling more patients to be treated with the same resources, and also enhance the quality of care. Turning patients into partners starts here... During ICHOM September 5th webinar, we've been reflecting on the power of patient engagement. Delivering patient-centric care and taking on board patient reported outcome measurements is the desire of many care-givers. However, one of the main challenges for achieving this goal, is to get patients to participate and to fill in questionnaires, or use an app consistently. Fabio Catarinella highlighted that the key to overcoming this challenge lies in ensuring that clinicians and nursing staff are strong advocates for PROMs compliance.
