Helping patients discover and access treatments

Over ons

Our mission is to enable earlier and better access to all possible treatment options. We aim to break barriers for eligible patients to receive information on and enroll in clinical trials and expanded access programs by providing a single digital platform to connect all stakeholders of pre-approval access. Patients and physicians come to us to stay informed about clinical trials and expanded access programs and guidance on how to access them. Our Patient Navigators are an essential point of contact for patients during their entire journey. We always provide these services free of charge to them. We support BioPharma companies by making their clinical trials and expanded access programs more accessible. We charge BioPharma companies for our services, which include supporting clinical trial recruitment and managing international expanded access programs, logistics, quality management, distribution, and real-world data collection. myTomorrows has offices in Amsterdam and New York City and operates globally. We have helped almost over 11,000 patients and 2,000 physicians worldwide.

Over five months ago, brainstrust and myTomorrows joined forces with a clear objective: to simplify the discovery and access to clinical trials for people diagnosed with brain tumors and to make it easier for physicians to find relevant clinical trials for their patients. ☀️ Now, we are very excited to share that on 19th September at 12pm CEST/11am UK, our very own Tariro Mantsebo and Paris Asif will participate in the Brainstrust High Grade Knowledge Share session “Accessing Clinical Trials: How Patient Navigators can support you during your journey”. This event aims to discuss the challenges patients and caregivers face in accessing oncology trials and potential solutions to these issues. 🚀 During this insightful Q&A session, Tariro and Helen Bulbeck, Director of braintrust, will address the following questions: ✔️What does a patient navigator do, and how do they support patients and their treating physicians during their medical journey? ✔️What are some common barriers or challenges that patients face when trying to access clinical trials, and how do patient navigators help them overcome some of these obstacles? ✔️How does myTomorrows support patients and their families on a well-informed process about their clinical trial options? ➡️ You won’t want to miss this! Register for this session here https://lnkd.in/eKRvvSyU ➡️ Additionally, if you are a person with a brain tumor or a physician looking for clinical trials for your patients, visit our website to explore clinical trial treatment options https://lnkd.in/eSe_WXkH #braintrust #oncology #braincancer #clinicaltrials #patientnavigator

Breaking News!! 🚀🚀 ☀️ We are thrilled to share that our CEO, Dr. Michel van Harten, has been featured in #Forbes with an insightful article "Treating the Age of Medical Misinformation” ☀️ They say, “Knowledge is power.”💪 However, in today’s digital world, navigating the waters of online misinformation is not an easy task. In his article, Dr. van Harten discusses the dangerous implications of medical misinformation, not only for patients but also for healthcare professionals and wider BioPharma industry. 👥 One wrongly informed decision can have serious consequences. For instance, between January and March 2020, more than 5,000 people were hospitalized after a false rumor spread online that drinking concentrated alcohol-based cleaning products could “cure” COVID-19. Yet, as Dr. van Harten explains, social media and AI—when used correctly—can be part of the solution. Community groups on platforms like Facebook can offer well-informed support to individuals suffering from different conditions. Furthermore, when it comes to emerging technologies, AI is providing medical practitioners with more efficient means of detecting, diagnosing, and predicting the progression of several diseases. AI can also be used to simplify complex processes such as clinical trial identification, pre-screening and recruitment, making these processes faster and more accessible to healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers. 🌟 💡We are incredibly honored to see Dr. van Harten’s expertise recognized by Forbes, and we invite you to read the full article to explore this important topic further! ☀️World Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day☀️ Today is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Awareness Day, a day to unite and raise awareness for this serious condition.💪 🌍 DMD is a genetic disorder that weakens muscles over time, with symptoms often appearing in boys between ages 2 and 3, although girls can also be affected. It is caused by mutations in the dystrophin gene, and genetic testing is typically used to diagnose the disease. Identifying the type of mutation is important as it can help predict disease progression. To learn more about how genetic testing works and its importance in managing DMD, check out this blog https://lnkd.in/eHzDnfrT 🔬Though there is no cure for DMD, treatments such as steroid drugs, physical therapy, and cardiac and respiratory care can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. In recent years, significant progress has been made in genetic therapies aimed at correcting the genetic cause of DMD. Some of these therapies are now approved by the FDA, and more are currently under investigation in clinical trials. ➡️ At myTomorrows, our goal is to support DMD patients and caregivers on their treatment journey, as well as to assist physicians in seeking suitable clinical trials for their patients. Our dedicated Patient Navigators are available to talk with Duchenne community about what #clinicaltrials may be available to them and provide comprehensive support throughout the entire process. Book a call with us to discover your clinical treatment options. https://lnkd.in/eTQVPqEH #DMD #Duchenne #neuromuscular #musculardystrophy #clinicaltrials #raredisease

We’re excited to share that myTomorrows has partnered with the CureLGMD2i Foundation!🚀 The mission of CureLGMD2i is to spread awareness, provide advocacy, and raise funds to research and support patients suffering from Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2I/R9 (LGMD2I/R9). 🔬LGMD2I/R9 is a form of Muscular Dystrophy that causes profound muscle wasting and weakness, primarily affecting the shoulders, thighs and hip muscles. While there is currently no cure for LGMD2I/R9, several investigational treatments are being explored in clinical trials. Unfortunately, accessing and navigating these trials can be challenging for those affected by the disease. 🌍 Our partnership seeks to simplify this process for patients and physicians. By using myTomorrows’ search engine, patients and physicians may more easily find relevant clinical trial options on a global scale. Additionally, myTomorrows’ patient navigators are available to provide guidance and support throughout the entire clinical trial journey, helping people with LGMD2I/R9 make the most informed decisions about their care. 🌅 Dr. Michel van Harten, CEO of myTomorrows, highlighted the value of this partnership, stating “This collaboration advances our commitment to empowering patients and healthcare professionals with the confidence and knowledge they need throughout their treatment journeys.” ➡️ Read more about this partnership here https://lnkd.in/dPNEaMEr #LGMD #LimbGirdle #MuscularDystrophy #Clinicaltrial #PatientSupport
