We hebben al veel mooie projecten gemaakt sinds het bestaan van MGB Cladding Systems maar dit is toch wel één van de mooiste en uitdagendste. Vandaag gestart met het aanbrengen van de lettergevel bij de nieuwe bibliotheek van de UVA te Amsterdam. Een schitterend project vol uitdagingen maar het resultaat mag er al zijn. BINX Smartility, bedankt voor het vertrouwen en de fijne samenwerking. En laten we Nedcam niet vergeten die de productie van deze fantastische gevel heeft verzorgd.

High-precision tooling at Nedcam In addition to making composite moulds for serial production, Nedcam also produces aluminium and steel moulds. These moulds are mainly used in the aerospace sector, where precision is critical. But aluminium equally provides mould inserts of the highest quality. At our facility in Rhede, Germany, we have several 5-axis milling machines for this practice. Take a look at our website for more information about the machine park. Afgelopen dinsdag waren we aanwezig bij de uitreiking van de Pro-Motor Award 2024. Ons 3D-XL-project, ontwikkeld binnen het Skills for Life-consortium, was genomineerd voor deze award. We focussen op grootschalig 3D-printen met gerecycleerde thermoplasten, wat een circulaire aanpak van productontwikkeling in de toekomst mogelijk maakt. Dankzij onze samenwerking met NHL Stenden Hogeschool hebben we de industriële haalbaarheid van 3DXL-printen aangetoond en zetten we een nieuwe standaard in de composietsector. We willen graag de winnaar, TechForFuture met het project CHARISMA, feliciteren met het behalen van de Pro-Motor Award 2024. Last Tuesday, we attended the presentation of the Pro-Motor Award 2024. Our 3D-XL project, developed within the Skills for Life consortium, was nominated for this award. We focus on large-scale 3D printing with recycled thermoplastics, enabling a circular approach to product development in the future. Thanks to our collaboration with NHL Stenden Hogeschool, we have demonstrated the industrial feasibility of 3DXL printing and are setting a new standard in the composites sector. We are thrilled to present the completed LEEN51 hull mould for NEEL-TRIMARANS GROUP's new hybrid trimaran. A luxurious ocean explorer!   This 7-part split mould has arrived in France after 3 days of transport, where our team will help with the alignment and permanently bond the two middle mould parts together.   Another great project in the books!
