Nedelko wins Bronze EcoVadis Medal! 🏅   The importance of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) is increasingly growing in our society. At Nedelko, we have become more aware of the importance of these themes and the role we can play in them. There are still many opportunities in our sector to become more sustainable, and we are motivated to contribute to this. Recently, we participated in the EcoVadis assessment process, and it is with great pride that we can announce that we have completed this assessment with a bronze medal. Nedelko ranks in the top 35% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. We have been evaluated on the following processes, and these are being directed from the management:   - Environment - Labor and human rights - Ethics - Sustainable Procurement   Our score has thus reached 63% of 100%   “This bronze certificate is a beautiful recognition of our sustainability efforts,” says Lucas van Ardenne, CEO of the Nedelko Group. “Society is increasingly asking for sustainable and socially responsible business partners. Let's celebrate International Women's Day together and work towards an inclusive work environment where everyone, regardless of gender, is valued and respected. Today on March 8, we celebrate International Women's Day worldwide. A Day meant to call attention to the position of women in society. A little bit of history The occasion was the mass strike on March 8, 1908 in Chicago and New York by women in the textile and garment industry for an eight-hour workday, better working conditions and suffrage. Their action, which came to be known by the slogan "Bread and Roses🌹," marked the beginning of a movement for fairer working conditions and respect in the workplace. Bread and Roses or Chocolate? Fortunately, and perhaps thanks to the above mentioned brave women, Nedelko women are in a much better place. Instead of 'Bread and Roses', today we opted for a box of delicious chocolates for all our female colleagues. Lovingly invented, bought, paid for, packed and sent by women and men at Nedelko. Thanks for the initiative Renata Jurjevic!  PS: the chocolate will definitaly be shared with the male colleagues 😊
