At NexGen Solutionz, we believe that every request or order we receive should have a compelling story behind it. Understanding the story allows us to deliver true added value to our clients. One recent project exemplifies this philosophy, as it presented a unique challenge and an unforgettable narrative. Over a year ago, one of ExxonMobil's refineries in Europe contacted us to replace aging valves originally supplied by a UK-based manufacturer 20 years ago. When the original equipment manufacturer declined to produce a like-for-like replacement due to obsolescence, we reached out to EXXON to better understand the application and specific requirements of these custom-made #valves. Despite the seemingly simple design—a twin ball #Double_block_and_bleed_valve with an integrated #check_valve for isolating a #chemical_injection_line —the critical detail was that the check valve needed to be at the outlet rather than the inlet. This configuration was crucial to minimize waste and prevent the backflow of precious chemicals during process stoppages. To address these unique specifications, we collaborated with our manufacturing partner in Germany. Their dedication resulted in a design that quickly received EXXON's approval. The condition was to conduct a six-month pilot test with the initial valve, after which additional batches would be ordered based on performance. Following successful testing, EXXON was delighted with the results and placed an order for the next batch of valves. This project not only highlighted the superior quality and attention to detail provided by our partner, AS-Schneider Group, but also reinforced our commitment to delivering fit-for-purpose #solutions that exceed client expectations. . . . . . #Asset_Management #Crystal_Clear_Valves #Continuous_Improvement #Engineering #Procurement #Installation
