The focus will be on Best Practice: How things should be done, in Data Acquisition (Seismic, Remote Sensing, Borehole Logs, ATV, UAV, Cores, Geology), Data Analyses, and Simulation & Modelling. New technologies have come available which permit a major break through from the conventional outdated DFN modelling to AI assisted 3D Geologically Realistic modelling. The first and only Protocol that has incorporated all these new developments is DMX, now applied in the partnership OCRE-GMEK. The Afghanistan Earthquake Swarm - Insights from the New Global Tectonic Map As you can see the map reveals that the swarm is located at a triple point of plates which explains the multiple occurrences of large events which has puzzled scientists for a long time. Other major multiple events are located on similar multiple contact points between microplates. This constitutes another major break-through in the understanding of the dynamics our Planet, and fundamental risk-mitigation and safety management.
