The Wonder Weeks

From Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB), under leadership of professor of parenting support Maartje Luijk, a research project has started on the effectiveness of parenting support. The project focuses on how parents can be supported in parenting in an accessible and effective way. The research focuses, among other things, on our Dutch book and app ‘Oei, ik groei!’ (The Wonder Weeks). We are very interested and happy about this research, because it aligns perfectly with our mission to make all parents feel confident when making the biggest leap of their lives: having a baby. This research and all their insights can support us in our mission. Professor Maartje Luijk: “We know parents find parenting harder now than ever. At the same time, there is also more advice and support than ever. I want to know which support actually helps, and which support actually causes parents more stress. Oei, ik groei! (The Wonder Weeks) is a unique example and it’s very interesting to be able to research what really helps parents in raising their children.”

We are very proud to announce that our Dutch app 'Oei, ik groei!' has been nominated for App of the Year in the category Health & Lifestyle, after winning the award last year! Our app, developed by Apadmi, is about all the leaps and developments that are associated with them. With this we help young parents all over the world in the most uncertain period in their lives: having a baby. Of course we would like to win and you can help us by voting on us.
