Our Koen van Willigen was trained by Automatic Door Suppliers Association Ltd for EN 16005 regulations and passed with flying colours. Well done Koen and a big thanks to ADSA! #technology #automatic #doors #safety
WHAT A WONDERFUL TRAINING COURSE THAT WAS! Our trainer Darren Hyde has spent the last couple of days taking eight engineers through the EN 16005: 2023 ADSA Standards Authorised certification . . . and all succeeded with flying colours! So well done to Jonny Cruz and Russell Minchella of ADSA new members Vitech Systems Limited; Georgi Georgiev and Linus Akonye of Boon Edam UK; Adam Muswell of GEZE UK; Johnathon Reynolds of Total Integrated Solutions (TIS) Ltd and Oli Biggs of IGM Automated Entrances. And a special mention goes to Koen van Willigen, who travelled to join us from The Hague in the Netherlands to represent OPTEX Technologies B.V. on the delivery. Like all the delegates, Koen passed his evidence assessment with style (he even came in as the joint-top scorer!) and - like all the delegates - was just a great person to hang out with! Now Koen, who heads sales for OPTEX across the Benelux countries, the UK and Ireland, will head off on a tour of auto door partners before rejoining ADSA for a meeting of our technical committee, of which he is a member, next week. Pictured (l-r) are Darren, Koen (with certificate and BS EN Standards Authorised card) and ADSA managing director Ken Price.
