Met deze innovatieve stap willen wij de zware fysieke arbeid verminderen en de efficiëntie verhogen. Door het gebruik van geavanceerde robots en slimme automatisering worden repetitieve en belastende taken overgenomen door machines. Dit zorgt niet alleen voor een gezondere werkomgeving voor onze medewerkers, maar verhoogt ook de productiecapaciteit en de kwaliteit van de pallets. Onze medewerkers blijven essentieel in het productieproces, maar dankzij deze technologische vooruitgang krijgen ze een meer coördinerende en controlerende rol. We investeren niet alleen in machines, maar ook in onze mensen door hen op te leiden voor deze nieuwe werkprocessen. Met deze modernisering zet PKF/POST een belangrijke stap richting een duurzame en toekomstbestendige productie, waarin innovatie en werkplezier hand in hand gaan. With this innovative step, we aim to reduce heavy physical labour and increase efficiency. Through the use of advanced robots and smart automation, repetitive and burdensome tasks are taken over by machines. This not only creates a healthier working environment for our employees, but also increases production capacity and pallet quality. Our employees remain essential in the production process, but thanks to these technological advances, they are given a more coordinating and controlling role. We invest not only in machines, but also in our people by training them for these new work processes. With this modernisation, PKF/POST is taking an important step towards sustainable and future-proof production, in which innovation and job satisfaction go hand in hand. This investment is partly made possible by a contribution from the European Union's Just Transition Fund (JTF) ‘fund for a just transition’.

** 𝙊𝙥𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙢𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙟𝙚𝙨 ** Onze werfmeester Jurgen Jongeneelen heeft de afgelopen periode het grondstoffenmagazijn van onze locatie in Venlo opnieuw ingedeeld en ingericht en hiermee een grondige efficiencyslag gemaakt. Veel voorkomende kop- en lengtematen hebben een nieuwe (vaste) locatie gekregen, waardoor de rijd-afstanden zijn verkort, hierdoor gaat ons 𝐖𝐌𝐒 (Warehouse Management System) nóg efficiënter functioneren. Met de nieuwe indeling van het grondstoffenmagazijn zijn de gangbaarste maten het best bereikbaar en kunnen de verschillende palletelementen sneller én veiliger hun weg naar onze productiemachines bereiken. Ook ons FIFO systeem “𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧, 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭” kan hierdoor gemakkelijker  worden geborgd. Want uiteindelijk geldt; “Opgeruimd staat netjes, dit zo hou(t) 😊den is de kunst!” -English below- ** 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 **   Our logistic manager Jurgen Jongeneelen has recently reorganised and rearranged the raw materials warehouse at our Venlo site, resulting in a thorough efficiency improvement. Many common headers and lengths have been given a new (fixed) location, reducing driving distances and making our 𝐖𝐌𝐒 (Warehouse Management System) work even more efficiently. With the new layout of the raw materials warehouse, the most common sizes are best accessible and the various pallet elements can reach our production machines faster and safer. Our FIFO system “𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧, 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭” can therefore also be secured more effectively.

**𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙨**𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙩**𝙂𝙧𝙪𝙚̈𝙩𝙨** Wij zijn als PKF/POST trots op alle hardwerkende collega’s in ons bedrijf! Soms springt (of zwemt 😊) er één collega bovenuit die we vanwege haar bijzondere prestaties even in het zonnetje willen zetten. Relinda Baas van onze afdeling bedrijfsbureau heeft tijdens de Nederlandse kampioenschappen wedstrijdzwemmen in Den Haag maar liefst 4 Nederlandse titels én 2 bronzen medailles weten binnen te halen! En of dat al niet genoeg is heeft zij zich weten te kwalificeren voor het WK 2025 in Singapore! -English below- ** 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙 ** As PKF/POST, we are proud of all the hardworking colleagues in our company! Sometimes one colleague stands out (or swims out 😊) and like to place her in the spotlight because of her special achievements. Relinda Baas from our business office managed to win no fewer than 4 Dutch titles and 2 bronze medals during the Dutch championships in competitive swimming in The Hague! And if that is not enough, she managed to qualify for the World Championships 2025 in Singapore!

** 𝙀𝙚𝙣 𝙠𝙞𝙟𝙠𝙟𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙚 𝙋𝙆𝙁/𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙠𝙚𝙪𝙠𝙚𝙣 ** Onlangs hebben wij onze oude droogkamer vervangen door deze nieuwe energiezuinige, draadloos aangestuurde Hildebrand-Brunner droogkamer! Deze twee kamers gebruiken wij om hout dat ongedroogd is aangekocht een hitte behandeling te geven volgens de ISPM15 normen. Het hout wordt door PKF/POST tot in de kern verhit tot 56 graden, minimaal 30 minuten lang. Deze pallets worden voorzien van het ISPM15 merkteken. Hierdoor kunnen onze pallets probleemloos wereldwijd worden getransporteerd. English below ** 𝘼 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙆𝙁/𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙣 ** We recently replaced our old drying chamber with this new energy-efficient, wirelessly controlled Hildebrand-Brunner drying chamber! We use these two chambers to give wood purchased undried a heat treatment according to ISPM15 standards. The wood is heated to 56 degrees by PKF/POST to the core for a minimum of 30 minutes. These pallets are marked with the ISPM15 mark. This allows our pallets to be transported worldwide without any problems.

** 𝘽𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙟𝙛𝙨𝙗𝙚𝙯𝙤𝙚𝙠 𝙋𝙆𝙁/𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙋𝒂𝙡𝒍𝙚𝒕𝙨 ** Vorige week donderdagavond waren de Wanssumse ondernemers vanuit club ‘92 op bezoek bij PKF/POST in Venlo. Onder grote belangstelling mochten wij vol passie vertellen over de productie van onze kwaliteit pallets. Hoe deze worden uitgetekend, welk hout wij gebruiken en hoe onze productielijnen functioneren, om zo uiteindelijk onze professionele klanten te bedienen door Nederland en andere West-Europese markten.
