Every network partner that earns a Green Label Certificate scored at least 65% recovery rate. The recovery rate is the amount of PRS pallets that we collected and received back, divided by the amount of in-pool pallets that were sent. With "in pool" we mean the pallets that stay in the area where we can collect the pallets.   The PRS Green Label is a certificate for companies in our PRS network that help collect and re-use our pallets. Soon PRS will give out the annual 𝐏𝐑𝐒 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. On the 12th of September, all companies in the PRS network who earned a PRS Green Label this year will find the Digital Certificate in their mailbox!     𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗥𝗦 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲? At PRS, we organise a circular pooling model to control the reuse and shared use of CP-type pallets for the European polymer industry. We collaborate with customers, distributors, converters and transporters throughout Europe to make this succeed. With this circular pooling model, we contribute to a sustainable supply chain and a better environment. But we can’t do this alone. In recognition of all the partners that help us to collect and reuse our pallets, we have initiated the PRS Green Label Certificate. We hope this way more companies will learn about the impact of returning PRS pallets and expand our group of Green Label partners each year. Every pallet that can be collected is a win in terms of sustainability and efficiency.   This week our network of collection points received an e-mail in which we asked them to give us feedback and tips on how we can make the pallet collection process as easy as possible for them. As Easy Pooling is our goal, we think it is very important to keep in contact with all our partners and to understand their perspectives on the system. With every PRS pool pallet that we collect within our network, we make an impact. We have a big cooperative network where we collect our pallets effortlessly, but on the other hand there is still unawareness about our return system in some places where our pallets end up.   That is why we spread the word and say: 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬!   The coming weeks we try to increase awareness of our return system, and will actively communicate the importance of an efficient and circular supply chain with our customer's networks.   To introduce the topic, we start with three reasons why every pallet counts: 🌳 1. 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 Our pallets are made of certified wood and made with a high-quality standard, which makes them suitable to use several times over. We see single pallets being used up to 7 times through the petrochemical industry product cycle. The more pallets we can reuse, the less new pallets have to be manufactured. 🚚 2. 𝐀 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 When we have more pallets to collect and a bigger number of collection points in our network, the more efficient we can plan our routes for delivery and collection, which helps us minimize our joint footprint in terms of CO2 emissions. ♻ 3. 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 We can repair most of the broken pallets to be good quality pallets again. When a pallet is at the end of its cycle, we can still use the good parts of the pallet to repair the other pallets. #PRS #returnsystem #circular #reuse #pallets #sustainability #greenlabel
