Happy Internationals Woman’s Day from Washington DC 🍀 I’ve always envisioned myself in a role where I’d get the chance to explore beautiful places and embrace new cultures. And here I am - standing in front of the White House on my way to client meetings. Pretty cool :-). I truly hope that many more women in the world get (and take) the opportunity, trust & responsibility from their employer to chase their career dreams. Because, what I’m observing.. Every time I step in the plane, air lounges, hotels or restaurants during working weeks, I am a minority. 1 true example (vers van de pers) is that the waiter this week naturally assumed that the man at the table was paying the bill, not even looking at me, it’s 2024 - come on. This post might inspire some other woman to just go out there, it’s pretty nice in the men’s world - use your charm, humor and intelligence, a matter of time that equally as many woman as men are joining the ride! 🚀🙋♀️ The other picture I was inspired by this week - it’s part of an exposition in the Library of Congress, this brave lady found herself a pretty amazing studio on top of the Chrysler Building to shoot New York City life from a great perspective. (Margaret Bourke-White, New York, 1932).
