We’ve been keeping quiet, but it’s time to share that a few key members of the #Qblox team went on a roadshow earlier in October! Yiğitcan Uzun, Priya Lakshmi 🇮🇳, Ark Modi, and Jet Weevers visited labs across Germany to share expertise and gather valuable insights. Here are some key of their takeaways: 💡 The Cluster in the field: It was exciting to see how different labs are using our electronics in new and creative ways, adapting the Cluster to their specific research needs. 🩵 Sharing our expertise: At Quantum Effects in Stuttgart, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the Cluster’s capabilities with labs that aren’t yet customers and had the chance to show them how we can help them solve their problems. 🐛 Real-time debugging: Our team enjoyed the challenge of solving technical questions and bugs on the conference floor or at a lab, demonstrating how we support our customers, too. 🤝 Partnership and support: Our support team is passionate about working closely with each lab, helping solve problems, and answering support queries within days—even when we’re not on the road. This roadshow was all about learning, collaborating, and showing how the Cluster can impact a wide range of experiments and research.

Yesterday, #Qblox and Orange Quantum Systems team members joined forces for the Quantify hackathon - Quantify Day. Quantify is an open-source Python framework that integrates seamlessly with Qblox hardware. We kicked the day off with participants being sorted into diverse teams to share their ideas and brainstorm future improvements. We tackled some fun challenges, working on new ideas to streamline the user experience and push the boundaries of what Quantify can do. We wrapped up with an open session, where everyone had the chance to bring together a range of expertise and fresh perspectives. A great day of innovation, collaboration, and creativity!

Last week, Qbloxers practiced crafting a modular creation using building blocks that integrate with each other to make up the final product. Of course, we're referring to the Quantum Delta Delft's Quantum LEGO Challenge at House of Quantum. Another great event with other Dutch quantum companies, research groups and institutes. Our competitive and creative spirit was up for the challenge!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterday's Journal Club session! The Journal Club is a regular meeting where we invite guest speakers to dive deeper into various quantum topics, and yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Zihao Wang from the University of Rochester. Zihao shared his exciting research on qudits as a resource-efficient alternative to qubits, showcasing how Qblox instruments are helping push the boundaries of #quantum information processing. It was an inspiring talk, and we’re proud to have had him as our first speaker with a published paper featuring our #technology. Want to dive deeper into the research? Qblox was awarded the Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) Innovation Award for developing the Qubit Timetag Module. 🙌 The QTM supports readout and entanglement heralding for NV-centers, REIDS quantum memories, and trapped ion qubits, offering 8 configurable channels and 39 ps resolution for precise signal generation and acquisition. The QIA #Innovation Team recognized it for addressing the needs of their researchers and its applicability for the different types of optical qubit platforms. Thanks for the congratulations, and we're happy to be advancing #quantum research!

Earlier in October, #Qblox had the opportunity to visit Distriq, Zone d'innovation quantique de Sherbrooke in Canada as part of a Dutch delegation with Quantum Delta NL. The visit started at Institut quantique - Université de Sherbrooke, where we explored the latest advancements in quantum technologies and got an insightful tour of their research facilities. We were also introduced to Sherbrooke’s innovative start-ups. Our head of sales, Aleksandra Soltamova was inspired by the insightful discussions and atmosphere. Our team had a great time at the Quantum Effects conference, where we teamed up with amazing partners like Quantum Delta NL, QuiX Quantum, QuantWare, QuantaMap, TNO, QT Sense, and Delft Circuits to showcase the future of quantum technology. The energy was incredible, and we had the chance to connect with many inspiring minds pushing the boundaries of quantum research. Meanwhile, our roadshow continues! In between the excitement of the conference, we’ve been traveling across Germany, visiting labs, and giving live demos of our Quantum Control Cluster.
