💚 World Mental Health Week 2024 at Redcare Pharmacy. At Redcare Pharmacy, we truly care about our employee’s well-being, which is why, in support of World Mental Health Day on October 10th, we initiated a special 4-day programme packed with activities designed to help raise awareness, educate and support mental health in our company. From workshops on understanding stress, building resilience to digital overload and neurodiversity awareness (thank you Jamie G.) to active breaks to reconnect your body and mind. Guided meditations led by our in-house mindfulness experts, Nina Vachalikova and Viola Schürmann, as well as leadership & team well-being sessions for managers, empowering them to better support their teams. We’re happy with the engagement across both our German and English sessions, showing how much we value mental health as a core part of Redcare Pharmacy. We start everything with people. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this week a success! Special thanks to our colleagues from the Development & Culture department and of course to all coaches and experts involved throughout these days: Olga Klamut, Lisa Beuthien, Lena Belting, Lisa Marie Tammena and Lisa Brinks from Likeminded as well as Marta Susak and Sabine Bimmler! Retail Media insights for belgium and france: a recap of our 2024 summit!🔎 This year, Redcare Pharmacy hosted not one but two Retail Media Summits – one for our DACH market and another tailored to our Belgian and French partners. Both summits embraced the motto “Leading the way, shaping tomorrow’s commerce landscape.” Recapping the summit for Belgium and France, the event brought together nearly 200 attendees, on-site and digitally, to explore key insights and future trends in the retail media space. Here’s a quick look at the day’s highlights: The summit began with an inspiring talk on "Growing success, growing opportunities," led by Lode Fastré, our CIO. He shared how Redcare Pharmacy continues to push boundaries in the online pharmaceutical industry, focusing on innovation and customer-centric solutions. Next, Evi Driesen, author of “Get the Click,” dived into the power of content marketing, showing how strategic content can be a powerful driver of business growth. Later, Aylin Ersan, Director of Retail Media, took the stage to present "The State of Retail Media," offering a deep dive into the retail media ecosystem, future trends, and market developments in digital advertising. To conclude the presentations, our Retail Media team for Belgium & France providing an exciting outlook on 2025, showcasing new tools and strategies designed to shape next year's marketing campaigns. Redcare Pharmacy trading update Q3 2024. We are pleased to share our recent trading update with you. Here are some key highlights: · Q3 total Group sales up 21% year over year to EUR 574M and year to date 34% to EUR 1.7bn; non-Rx sales growth 20% year over year to EUR 383M and also 20% year to date to EUR 1.2bn. · Active customer base 0.4M higher in Q3 at 11.9M; up 1.4M year over year. · Further acceleration in marketing based on convincing e-Rx metrics, repeat order rate and average order value, to drive e-Rx growth faster. · Full-year 2024 guidance updated for step-up in marketing. Prescription sales growth in Germany accelerated to 81%, with sales reaching EUR 69 million (Q3 2023: EUR 38 million); in September, the growth rate surged to 108%. Guided by the convincing momentum in Rx sales in Germany and the financial strength of the Group, our Management Board decided to step up its marketing investment plans for the remainder of the year to further drive e-Rx growth. The full-year guidance for 2024 has been adjusted to reflect the decision. Redcare Pharmacy remains on track to achieve total sales of EUR 2.35 to EUR 2.5 billion this year. As our CEO Olaf Heinrich explains: "Since the introduction of the e-prescription, our customers have embraced the seamless digital experience, with many returning for multiple orders. Now is the time to capitalize on the e-Rx opportunity." Our CFO Jasper Eenhorst adds: "Our outstanding Rx growth in Germany, particularly in September, provides the foundation for further strategic marketing investments. We expect the future returns from this decision to significantly enhance our market position." Driving innovation with user-centered design – insights from our ux researcher’s latest project. We are happy to have Franciszka Bayer as one of our talented UX researchers in our UX team. Since joining Redcare Pharmacy in May 2023, she has brought her expertise and passion for understanding user needs, helping to ensure that our products truly meet the expectations of our customers. One of the key projects Franciszka has worked on during the last months was our CardLink solution for redeeming e-prescriptions digitally in our Shop Apotheke app. She shared her latest experience and excitement with us: 💬 "2024 marked a major milestone for the healthcare industry in Germany—the long-awaited introduction of the electronic prescription (eRx). The shift toward digitalisation in healthcare has been rapid and it is our job to ensure that these changes are not only innovative but also accessible and user-friendly for everyone. At Redcare Pharmacy, we took this challenge to heart and released our CardLink solution for our app in May. CardLink simplifies the process of redeeming e-prescriptions, offering customers a seamless link between their healthcare provider and our online pharmacy. Being a customer-centric company, we wanted to make sure that the experience of redeeming an eRx is as smooth as possible for our users. To truly understand how our customers interact with this new solution, we conducted a series of in-house user tests. These sessions gave us a unique opportunity to sit down with our customers and observe firsthand how they navigate the eRx process. These insights are now fuelling further research and development. Our goal is to continuously refine the user journey, making it as easy and intuitive as possible for every customer. Working directly with our customers has been incredibly insightful and rewarding. Their feedback has provided us with invaluable knowledge that will help shape the future of e-prescriptions and improve our digital services. There is something really special about the moments when you see how much your work can impact people's lives and I could not be more excited for what is to come." 🚀 Redcare Pharmacy’s Retail Media Summit 2024 - leading the way. This week, we hosted our annual Retail Media Summit, where over 200 partners from retail media, digital healthcare and e-commerce came together to discuss the future of this ever-evolving landscape. Moderated by Charlotte Van Velthoven-Geerdink, the day was filled with innovation, strategy and exciting possibilities for the digital healthcare journey! Our lineup of internal and external experts showcased how we're shaping the future of retail media. Olaf Heinrich, our CEO, kicked off with a business update on our 2024 achievements, followed by Dirk Brüse, our CCO, who highlighted growth opportunities and customer-centric solutions. Lena Schmitz dived into the e-prescription revolution, while Daniel Knapp offered a deep dive into industry trends and the future of digital advertising. Aylin Ersan shared a forward-looking view on retail media and our platform's role in fulfilling advertiser expectations. Practical sessions included Ewgeni Neif and Max Sander on our unique ReRank ad format, as well as Silke Wolff, Lea Draber, Christina Nolte and Dominik Pausacker, showcasing retail media's full-funnel potential through real-world use cases. Closing out, our expert panel of Milan Garncarz, Hannah Resing, Thomas Sapun and Dr. Dominique Ziegelmayer discussed data's pivotal role in retail media and its challenges. The day wrapped up with a lively networking session, bringing together bright minds to continue the conversation over drinks and snacks – and we can definitely say, what a success from our side! 🚀 Tech in action! Recap of our first internal IT event. Our IT team – along with colleagues from closely associated departments – gathered for Redcare Pharmacy’s first internal tech event, with plenty of valuable insights on how tech is driving our company forward. Moderated by Charlotte Van Velthoven-Geerdink and kicked off by our CIO Lode Fastré, the event covered essential topics: from scalability (thanks for the insights, Rico) to product improvements (kudos to Bernhard Spielmann, Kanchi Navaratnam, Jens Wolfgarten, and Nikolas Krokowski). Our commercial strategy was presented by Dirk Brüse, our CCO, while our NPS (Net Promoter Score) and eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) were addressed by Thomas Draheim and Lukas Häußler, respectively. Tech recruiting also took centre stage with Barbara Kryslak sharing her insights. The session on AI & automation featured Dominik Wollenschein, Leon-Carlo Weiß and Frederico, while IT security was covered by Kerim Hajji and Bernhard. At last, Marie-Christin Säger, Frederic Schmidt and Nikolas explored how data can drive growth. It was a valuable opportunity to see how our tech strategy aligns with our overall goals, reinforcing that Redcare Pharmacy is all about care at our core – and showcasing our commitment to tech and IT innovation.

What a night! 🕺💃 For our annual summer party we transformed the popular party location in Wachtendonk, Blaue Lagune, into a sea of white! With nearly 1,000 of us —employees from all locations — celebrating together, it was nothing short of legendary. From sunset to the early morning hours (yes, we partied until 3 AM!), the vibe was amazing. And of course, all five of our board members where right there with us, joining the fun! A massive thank you to everyone who made it to the party and to all colleagues involved in organising this year’s summer party. Special thanks to Stefanie Buttler for all your support as well as to Peter Schatz and Anna-Maria Langer for capturing those cool moments on camera.
