Yesterday, Regreener was mentioned on Arjen Lubachs Avondshow. Thanks for the 2x shout-out! 🌱🔊 Lubach focused on carbon offsetting. There is justified critique on certain carbon project types (e.g. rainforest protection). It is however important to point out that the carbon market is young, developing and small (around USD 2 billion annually worldwide). We are firm believers in the market’s potential as a force for good. That is, if we can ensure quality, transparency and integrity while it matures. Feedback is always welcome. The item ended with the following take-aways that we fully agree with: ❌ The worst thing you can do about your emissions is nothing ⚖️ The 2nd best thing is take responsibility by countering your emissions with a climate project (and a cost on your P&L) 📉 The best thing you can do is avoid emissions in the first place.
