Celebrating 20 years of Research Drive! This year marks a special milestone – 20 years of delivering exceptional services as a trusted Clinical Research Organization! Over the past two decades, we have proudly supported our clients in advancing their products through our full spectrum of services that we deliver. Thanks to everyone who has been part of our incredible journey! Recently, we celebrated this milestone with activities that mirrored who we are and what we stand for. We kicked off with a drive in a classic Beetle. We drove through the beautiful ‘Groene Hart’, reflecting the journey over the years and the setting of our office in Norg with our strong roots. In the evening, we were dazzled by the breathtaking Moulin Rouge musical - an evening full of energy and passion, which is evident in the daily work of our team consisting of CRAs, CTAs and PMs to go for that extra mile. The next day we concluded with a boat tour through the canals of Utrecht. The mix of rain and sun mirrored our journey as Research Drive - no matter the challenge we face, we work together as a team to find the right solution. It was the perfect way to celebrate 20 years and to reflect on our experiences. Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to supporting groundbreaking research and advancing new therapies that make a difference in patients’ lives.

Research Drive sponsored Suzanne Beukema as she took the Alpe d’HuZes challenge on 06 June 2024. Our daily work focuses on managing and executing oncology clinical trials, and through our support of the Alpe d'Huez team, we are contributing in another meaningful way towards finding a cure for cancer. Together, we strive to make a significant impact in the fight against oncology, both in the clinical trials we manage and through supporting initiatives like this event.

So proud of my two bachelor students who made this fantastic review on the “Evidence of the clinical effect of commonly used intra-articular treatment of equine osteoarthritis” Not only did they manage to do a strict systematic review following the #PRISMA guidelines as their bachelor project as veterinary students at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen . They also managed to get it published in #EquineVeterinaryEducation. And as if that was not enough - last week this paper was chosen as “Journal Article of the week” by British Equine Veterinary Association. 💪🤩 The review shows that unfortunately there is not much high level evidence supporting many of the intra-articular therapies that we use. However, there might be potential promise with some stem cell therapies and platelet rich plasma (PRP). But be aware - stem cells are not just stem cells and PRP not just PRP! Well done Anne Nedergaard and Lisa Carlsson To read the full paper, please download it (open access): https://lnkd.in/dMxGXnvW
