We’re proud to share a glimpse of our daily pursuit of bringing Cell and Gene Therapies to patients. Here you can see our NecstGen Viral Vector colleagues in the clean room, preparing for a 50L scale bioreactor run. Working in our state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Leiden Bio Science Park this week, they are setting up, calibrating, inoculating, and running the bioreactor. Our operators ensure that each step adheres to stringent procedures and standards, required by the regulatory authorities but also synonymous with the mission and mindset of NecstGen. So why are we doing this? Viral Vectors are used to deliver genetic material into cells for ex vivo and in vivo Gene Therapy, realising treatments and cures for severe, debilitating, and life-threatening diseases.
