Backstage at Vogue NL Downtown #AFW24 Last Thursday, Team Rob Peetoom had the honor of creating all the hair looks for the big fashion parade on the iconic P.C. Hooftstraat, the highlight of Vogue Downtown 2024! ⚡ Our talented team worked hard to bring a unique street style catwalk to life, where models, personalities, athletes, and dancers came together to showcase their individual styles. It was a blend of fashion, creativity, and artistry, and we are proud of the stunning looks the team created. 🙌 From sleek and sophisticated to bold and edgy, each hairstyle was crafted to perfection, complementing the diverse range of outfits and personalities on the runway. The energy backstage was electric, and the excitement was high as we prepared for this unforgettable event. And achieving his mission to empower and uplift young adults through hairdressing, providing them with education and housing for a year. Happy Earth Day! In Rob Peetoom’s quest to become the most responsible version of ourselves, let us share the 5 things we’re proud of doing at our salons every day 🌎 ♻️    1. Becoming a proud partner of Green Circle Salons Benelux and Green Circle Salons US in 2022, 2023 and 2024.   2. Collecting all hair clippings in our salons in the Netherlands and the US. Because every garbage bag of hair produces greenhouse gases as it tries to break down, which can contribute to climate change. At Rob Peetoom hair is gathered for shipment to Green Circle Salons to recycle it into oil absorbing mats, acoustic panels and even hair combs.   3. Instead of rinsing excess hair color, lightener and toner down the drain, so it can find its way back into our drinking water and soil, we retrieve it all for recycling by Green Circle Salons and turn it into clean energy.   4. All used metal, in particular hair foils are saved after use and send to Green Circle Salons to turn it into new aluminium that can be recycled over and over again.   5. As part of our salon guidelines, we only use water saving taps in all our salons. Minimising the amount of water we use for every client on a daily basis.    CEO Rochelle Peetoom is proud to share our efforts: “Throughout 2023 the Rob Peetoom salons have collected 2485 kg of waste, all send to Green Circle Salons to recycle, recover and repurpose it. We’re not perfect but committed to making better choices every day, minimising our environmental impact across the entire business.
