📢 𝗕𝗔𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: ☀️ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐧 ☀️ 🔗https://lnkd.in/dbg_SY8y (Interview 1: 1h52m57s-1h58m00s / interview 2: 3h10m45s - 3h13m58s) We have a Dutch expression in our industry: ‘technical weather’, referring to sunny weather. Sounds harmless, right? But there’s a hidden danger. Research by TNO and KWF Kankerbestrijding shows that thousands of people in the Netherlands develop cancer each year due to workplace exposure – including exposure to the sun. For many of our colleagues, working outdoors is part of their daily routine. At BAM, the safety and health of our employees and partners come first. That’s why we take extra measures to protect our teams when working in the sun and heat. Because at the end of the day, everyone should be able to go home safe and healthy. Want to know how we ensure a safe working environment in these conditions? Listen to Marco Stuurman on NPO Radio 1 what we’re doing to protect our colleagues. (photo taken in PPE free zone)

𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞⚡🌿 The 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 between Krimpen aan den IJssel and Geertruidenberg is a lifeline for the electricity supply in the provinces South Holland and Brabant in the Netherlands. Ensuring its strength and reliability is vital to powering homes, businesses, and industries across the region. Building in a 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 brings unique challenges, but with 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, we’re overcoming them.
