𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗘 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿  "Ablation Technology Advances - Aerospace and Defense Applications” This online seminar presents a solid introduction of “Ablation Science and Technology” with aerospace and defense applications. This seminar is useful to material scientists, engineers, chemists, and physicists who are new to “ablation science and technology” and to existing engineers/scientists who wish to expand their experience to new experimental and numerical techniques. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲! Form a team of up to 4 people and pick a component of your choice. Working with a mentor supplied by SAMPE Europe, show how you would improve the component’s present sustainability by proposing a route to reduce its environmental impact. Sustainability improvements can be in any area, and examples could include areas of reducing waste or embodied energy; improving design for disassembly; light weighting; reducing operations and maintenance; or extending the service life. Entries will consist of a 2-minute video outlining your proposal. In the first round the best teams will be selected to go forward to a LIVE FINAL. In this second round selected teams will be offered an impartial, industrial mentor to help prepare their presentation for the final event.
