This backlog of equipment—previously organized for operational deployment—appears to be a direct consequence of evolving geopolitical dynamics and a strategic withdrawal from the region. Our high-resolution, time-series data provides clear evidence of these logistical disruptions, underscoring the broader implications for regional security and power projection. Today’s announcement marks a significant step forward in delivering mission-critical Earth observation capabilities. Under a new multi-year contract—facilitated by our partner Telespazio Brazil—the Brazilian Air Force will have rapid, on-demand access to Satellogic’s high-resolution imagery throughout South America. By leveraging our NewSat constellation and the Aleph platform’s self-service capabilities, the FAB gains a powerful advantage for real-time defense and security operations. This agreement underscores the impact of flexible, scalable geospatial solutions in meeting the evolving demands of global security and intelligence customers.

Our commissioning team set a new record: UzmaSat-1 successfully downloaded its first two images in less than 48 hours after launch with #SpaceX on January 14 🚀. The first images are used to calibrate the payload, ensuring optimal performance. This state-of-the-art Mark-V satellite, part of our fifth-generation series, delivers superior capabilities with greater capacity, wider swath coverage, and higher resolution. Congratulations to our incredible commissioning team for this outstanding achievement, showcasing our dedication to advancing satellite technology and delivering exceptional results.
