Ready to make impact together with your team or company?
Over ons
Serve the City is a global movement of volunteers showing kindness in practical ways to people in need. We organise special events for companies. Do you want to make impact and give back to society together with your team or organization? We are happy to help you in planning a variety of activities, from team-building events to impact days, ranging from 5 to 500 people. Rather than providing a one-size-fits-all offering that focusses on the output of the experience, our aim is to understand the wishes and needs of the company, aligning them with the most suitable projects or initiatives.

Super proud of this video that shows very well what Serve the City is all about. Making connecting: with and for another. Making an impact in a city that needs it so badly. Hopefully it will inspire companies, Amsterdammers and young people to get involved and start giving. If you want to find out more, feel free to connect with us | Meer weten, neem contact met ons op.

We are proud to share this article with you that was published in Het Parool today. The stories from young people volunteering with Ympact020 are amazing.

We started with our first of hopefully many beautiful performances of our new project “Serve the city Songs” at the Amsterdam UMC thanks to the support of Stichting RCOAK❤️ and the efforts of Alice Hoolsema to make this project happen. Every month an artist brings their music and stories closer to people in the hospital. This first edition Bas from the band called "Mensenkinderen" came to share his songs and stories at the lung department of the hospital. Music touches differently in a place like this, where people are sometimes bed-bound for weeks. Thanks for the hospitality and good care Geraldine van der Waal , looking forward to the next one. Thank you Stichting RCOAK for making this happen!❤️

Listen to this inspiring podcast | Who doesn’t hope to be seen for their talents rather than their limitations? When four teenage girls from Amsterdam embark on a voyage of volunteering, they overcome the perceptions of themselves as “learning-disabled” and demonstrate abilities that inspire hope in all of us. And when a group of physically-disabled people in Kosovo step up to lead volunteer projects, we see that those we often perceive as beneficiaries have enormous potential to contribute to their community. #mdt #talent #vrijwilligers #amsterdam
Hope: Everyone’s Got Talent!

Looking back on April we can conclude that we are really thankful for all the corporate volunteers that came out to help. 202 volunteers in total on 20 different projects. A glimpse of the activities we did: ➡ Playing games with the elderly ➡ Helping out at different petting farms ➡ Gardening at private gardens ➡ Cooking for the homeless and many more... Smiles were shared and with great team work many things were accomplished. Are you interested to help out with your team and make impact in Amsterdam? Feel free to contact us to talk about the options. ➡ email: companies@stcamsterdam.nl ➡ website: https://lnkd.in/ec8nNEB9 #volunteering #corporate #csr #mvo #vrijwilligerswerk #amsterdam #bedrijfsvrijwilligerswerk
