Liquigas, SHV Energy’s business in Italy, continues encouraging young people to reflect on the role of cleaner #energy for improving air quality and #sustainability.   The company’s “1, 2, 3… RESPIRA!” education project, which has run for several years, has already reached more than 300,000 students from over 4,000 schools across the country.   Liquigas recently presented the project to the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, in the presence of the Hon. Massimo Milani, Secretary of the VIII Commission for the Environment, Territory and Public Works.   The meeting highlighted the importance of constructive dialogue between institutions, schools and companies – essential for promoting environmental awareness and responsible energy use.   Proud of the team in Italy for this great work. #AdvancingEnergyTogether

Luciana Torres de Abreu is Customer Relations Supervisor at Supergasbras Energia Ltda, SHV Energy’s business in Brazil. Luciana is one of many dedicated professionals who proudly serve and support 10 million Brazilian families and over 50 thousand industrial and commercial customers across the country. Let’s take a moment to recognise this proud and historic moment for GASPOL, SHV Energy’s business in Poland, which recently received its first delivery of bioLPG at our terminal in Gdansk. BioLPG is chemically identical to LPG but is produced from renewable feedstocks such as plant and vegetable waste material and has a lower carbon footprint of up to 80%. SHV Energy, through our Futuria Fuels business unit, is proud to pioneer this sustainable liquid gas, and is working hard to expand our ability to supply it to customers who live and work beyond the grid. Originally from Argentina, Milagros Saccone, FRM is a Risk Management Analyst who works for SHV Energy’s Supply & Risk Management (S&RM) office in Paris, France. Milagros is part of a multinational team that supports SHV Energy’s businesses by helping them to understand, manage and mitigate the risk of LPG price volatility more efficiently. It’s important work that enables SHV Energy’s 26 million customers to benefit from more stable and predictable prices when purchasing LPG. After four years (and counting) with S&RM, Milagros says she likes the international atmosphere, often collaborating with colleagues in S&RM’s offices in Vienna and Singapore, as well as contributing to SHV Energy’s mission of Advancing Energy Together. Flávio Baltensberger is Chief Information Officer at Supergasbras Energia Ltda, our business in Brazil, where he was worked for more than 22 years. We caught up with Flavio before he was promoted last year, when he kindly took the time to talk to us about his then-role. As (former) Director of Technology and Digital Transformation, Flavio’s goals focused on leveraging existing technologies to enhance the company’s performance and improve results. Part of this included elevating the customer and employee experience.
