For six decades, Sofitel has brought together French elegance and local heritage, creating meaningful and memorable experiences. Not only did we celebrate 15 years of being a Sofitel Legend, but in attendance of our CEO Maud Bailly, who updated the guests on Sofitel and Sofitel Legend, we also introduced our new General Manager, Stefan Melcherts. Together with the teams, he will play a pivotal role in The Grand's next chapter. By the hand of renowned French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon and his remarkable team at Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR), The Grand is undergoing an exciting transformation of all guest rooms and suites. This project will honor The Grand’s Dutch heritage, preserving its historic character while introducing refined contemporary touches with a French zest.
