Social and cultural norms, and patriarchal attitudes continue to obstruct women’s advancement. PoweRRR Indonesia, a project supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and implemented by Solidaridad Asia, is supporting a shift towards inclusion and equity in the palm oil sector. “It is imperative for both men and women to understand that gender equality is about partnership, not domination. Fantastic news! We have received an additional contribution of €2.1 million from the Nationale Postcode Loterij 🙏🎉 Over the next two years, this funding will enable 28,000 small-scale coffee and cocoa farmers in Peru and Honduras to produce deforestation-free and comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This ensures they can continue selling their cocoa and coffee to Europe, an important market for their produce. 🌍🌱 In addition, we also received our (increased) annual contribution of €1.5 million. The RECLAIM Sustainability! programme consortium—comprising Solidaridad, Fairfood, TrustAfrica, and BWI Indonesia—is seeking a highly experienced and qualified consultancy team to conduct the end-of-programme evaluation of our five-year initiative (2021-2025). This evaluation will critically assess the programme’s progress, outcomes, and impact over the past five years, providing valuable insights into its effectiveness, sustainability, and lessons learned.
