Last week, Sparks headed to Dreamland, Margate, for the UK Creative Festival and Creative Circle Awards, for two days of connecting with young talent with fresh perspectives and sparking conversation with creative industry leaders. Throughout the festival, our creative & design team engaged with hundreds of students, exploring brand experience as a viable and exciting career path. Our hands-on workshop empowered young creatives to develop their own brand identify, offering practical advice and mentorship. We also celebrated the New Talent and Short Filmmaker winners with ice cream and treats for the shortlist. On the rooftop of the stunning no42, we hosted our fringe event, "Bright Sparks at Sunset," featuring cocktails and a thought-provoking discussion on how industry leaders can better engage and nurture emerging talent. Introduced by Jason Megson and expertly moderated by Jo Jackson, this conversation amplified the festival’s mission to bridge gaps and foster connections within the creative community. All topped off on Thursday evening with the Creative Circle Awards. Our Executive Creative Director, Trin Bharij-Basra, served as a gold judge for the Experience Awards and Sparks also proudly sponsored the category. Congratulations to all who made the festival a resounding success, and especially to the award winners. It was truly an inspirational two days.
