"NEVER BELIEVED WE WOULD BE STANDING HERE NOW!"
said Sophie de Graaf, reflecting on the journey of the first IB PYP schools in the Dutch language.
In 2017 we started with one small school, right now we have already 3 IB world Schools, 5 candidate schools, many interested schools and 2 MYP candidate schools, all in the Dutch language. Many in underserved communities, proving the strength of the PYP curriculum to develop sustainably as a school. Because we believe education can be better, and can serve ALL students.
Today we provided professional development at its best!
With spectaculair facilitators from 4 different countries we served our IB PYP community in The Hague and Delft. Three schools of De Haagse Scholen: Startpunt International, Springbok International and OBS Anne Frank, and participants of Ericaschool, Mgr. Bekkersschool, 's Gravendreef College and KC De Binck joined us during two joyful days with lots of conversations about learning and teaching on top of many refreshing ideas and practices from the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
A big thank you to our experts: J. Rafael Angel, M. Ed., Katina Karlén-Rikkert, JonathanAdams, Zoe Grigoriadou, Cindy van den Heuvel, Tracy De Belder, Anna Morcilo Salas, Ruth O'Connell, for your inspiring workshops.
